Its horrible

It says it would like to use my current location, and if I say yes the beacon points 2 km north, and if I say no it will just ask me and keep asking me so it doesnt even work.

Mine wouldnt update or let me place a beacon

After you download it,the app would not update or work at all :( So dont waste your time downloading this app

Its not the best app in the world the you could get (no afense apple)

I dont get it. Sounds great, some people say it works, but then I try it and It will load distance but not accuracy, and it says error (errordomain=......) something like that and it doesnt work. Tryto fixit.

This app was a waste of time. It doesnt even work. I placed a beacon and walked off only to find that it kept pointing me away from my point

It doesnt work. It seemed to work at first. I set the beacon and then started walking. It keep adding to the distance and showed that I needed to go back. However when I turned and started walking back, it never updated. No matter how far I walked, it still kept telling me that I needed to go backwards.

this app is worth nothing. always points either north or south after placing and needs wifi to work on itouch I mean please at least make it work

My iPod doesent work with this, I dont know about the iPhone. It uses gps. Not wifi

We tried it out. It does indeed work when you are moving so it can tell which way its pointing. But it updates the direction very slowly as you walk so if you are making turns in close order you may not be sure which way to go. That may be the best they can do with pre-3GS iPhones but for 3GS phones they could, and should, take their directions from the built-in compas so they can update the direction much faster. If they do that Ill probably give it five stars.

First, I think this is an awesome idea. Simple, works offilne, handy to have. One thing I didnt realize at first is that the arrow doesnt point towards the beacon, it points in the cardinal direction of the beacon (i.e., West if the beacon is to your west, etc). This is rather annoying, but other than that, the app works fine. Simplicity is perfection.

Doesnt work. There are better apps out there. Dont waste your time.

This app is worthless. It does not work at all. It always read "poor accuracy." Im about to delete it.

Ive held off judgement until I used Beacon a couple of times. I like it. Simplicity - the joy of finding my car at the airport after a long business trip - hey I am tired and want to go home - NOW. Yeah it loads a bit slow and it doesnt update real well -yet. I find that by exiting the app and starting it up a short moment later, it updates fairly well. Lead me right to my car last night without any problem. Tweak it some - but keep it simple - and youll have 5 star app. Good job.

I deleted this app awhile back and I justtried reinstalling it. I got a error messege that said "this application is no longer availible." It might be because I have version 3.0. I dont know. It worked fine while I had it though.  Warning!- GPS is needed so WiFi on iPod Touch wont work!

Cute app, wish it has some screen options. I would much rather see a blip versus that arrow.
